TRAMES is a European project based on the Phoenicians’ Routes, a transnational thematic Route recognised since 2003 in the Council of Europe Programme «Cultural Route» and since 2016 object of interest of the UN World Tourism Organisation. The project is realised by 8 partners in Europe and promotes the cultural and archaeological heritage of Mediterranean civilisations following the ancient nautical and maritime routes.
The Cyprus Virtual Forum is part of the TRAMES “Festival of Intercultural Dialogue”, a festival that incorporates a total of 7 Forums; 3 in Italy (Tuscany, Sicily and Puglia), 1 in Cyprus, 1 in Spain, 1 in Malta and 1 in Greece. The aim of these Forums is to communicate the TRAMES concept of creative tourism and to provide opportunities for stakeholders in the tourism industry to network, form alliances and expand their business operations.
